During the first lockdown, Robyn lost her job in marketing as a result of the announcement of Lockdown. Robyn used this time to network and reach out to creatives and performers from across the globe to collaborate on a body of work that was led by the artist. Robyn would spend time talking through the artist's feelings towards their lockdown experience and she would encourage the artist to film a series of clips on their mobile phone which were then sent to Robyn to create a narrative out of them through post production.
